I’m on the northeast side of Denver. What is up with our weather?! It’s spring, not winter! Isn’t the rainwater rule the craziest thing? We’re going to do rainbarrels this year anyway. I can’t seem to find out anything on enforcement especially for regular homes. We figure we’ll try it until we’re told not to. Sort of like the chickens we’re going to get.

@kimchi – Keep an eye out! I just met someone else who got a used Schacht. I think Schachts are a lot more “fiddly” than some wheels … but they are also beautiful and offer a great deal of flexibility. It’s all in what’s right for you!

on another note, I am so impressed on how you scored your spinning wheel! I’m still trying out different brands but I have to say, Schacht is right up there on my list too! of course, I’m waiting until I find a deal on a used wheel before I invest in one myself. hope you guys have a great weekend! and thanks for all the great ideas! elaine.
